For over 5 years, I've watched local businesses in Nigeria and across Africa struggle with digital transformation. They're told to "go digital," but the options are overwhelming—expensive software, complex platforms, and consultants who speak tech jargon but don't understand Main Street reality.
My journey began with building Telegram bots for local businesses in Lagos. I saw firsthand how simple automation could save hours of manual work—from appointment scheduling to inventory tracking. But I also saw the limitations: these bots were helpful but not intelligent.
That realization led me to AI. Not as a replacement for human workers, but as an amplifier of human potential. When a retail store loses sales because they can't predict customer trends, that's a gap AI can bridge.
